The person behind Hadrian Digital.
I'm Jed Casey, the owner, and also the person who answers the phone, writes the code and reads the numbers. Hadrian Digital is deliberately small: one accountable developer looking after the whole online presence of local businesses.

The short version
I'm a working web developer with a computer science degree, based in South Shields. I build websites for a living, and Hadrian Digital is where I do it for local businesses directly. No agency layers, no account managers, no outsourcing.
Why "managed", not just "made"
Most small-business websites fail the same way. They get built once, by an agency, a nephew or a drag-and-drop builder, then handed over and left to rot. Plugins go out of date, the hosting renewal lapses, the contact form quietly breaks and nobody notices for months.
I don't hand over. I build your site, then I host it, secure it, update it and improve it, continuously. You never log into anything, because there's nothing for you to log into. When something needs changing, you tell me and it changes.
No middlemen, nothing outsourced
The person you ring is the person who wrote the code. Questions get answered by someone who actually knows the answer, and work gets done without a ticket crawling through three inboxes. One name, one number, one person responsible.
This site is the pitch
The website you're reading is built and run exactly the way a client's would be: hand-coded, fast, no plugins, nothing you would ever need to log into, and looked after continuously. If you're wondering what you'd get, you're looking at it. The full breakdown is on the website design service page.
